About the Program
Clearskies launched the Drone Professional Course in partnership with Aerospace Aviation Sector Skill Council ( AASSC), an apex body set up under the Government of India initiative - Skill India, to get the youth ready for future jobs & entrepreneurial opportunities in the drone industry.
What is Drone Professional Course?
Drone Professional Course gives a panoramic view of the Indian drone industry. Navigate the path towards the 'opportunities of tomorrow’ with the Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council recognized Drone Professional Certificate Course.

Drone or "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" (UAVs) are emerging as powerful tools. These aircraft can carry out an impressive range of tasks, ranging from military operations to vaccine delivery. With the evolution of regulations, we see drones headed to new heights in the business world. This is creating a market opportunity that's too large to ignore. Since Drones have the potential to transform many sectors, Drones could contribute 4-5% to India's GDP, due to multiple effects.
New Drone Rules and PLI Scheme to Catalyse Supernormal Growth
The Central Government has approved Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for drones and drone components to catalyze supernormal growth in the upcoming drone sector. India has the potential of becoming a global drone hub by 2030. It is expected that the drone and drone components manufacturing industry may see an investment of over INR 5000 crore over the next three years. The annual sales turnover of the drone manufacturing industry may grow from INR 60 core in 2020-21 fold to over INR 90 core in FY 2023-24.

MOU Between AASSC & Clearskies Aviation
The Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC) apex body set-up under the Government let initiative of "Skill India" to train the Indian workforce has signed an MoU with Clearskies (Drone Learning and Research Company) to get the youth ready for future jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities in the Drone Industry.
Drone Professional Course
The Drone Professional Course is the first joint certificate course developed as per the MoU. This course will introduce the youth to the world of Drones and train them in all aspects of the industry, starting from Drone Basics , Airspace, Regulations, Maintenance, Mission Planning and so on. Clearskies plans to offer this course in both Classroom and distance learning format.
